Today is a new day, and no I'm not quoting Celine, but rather referring to this historic event that has happened on November 4th, 2008... Barack Obama is the new President of the United States.
What an exciting time. This is truly a new kind of America. What changes will we see next within the country.
One thing I know for sure is that I'm extremely impressed with the turnout of voters, and individuals concerned/involved with this election. I hope that Americans continue to stay involved in the politics of our country to ensure that the individuals elected into all offices/seats maintain and keep in mind why their in office... that is to communicate and become the voice of all Americans.
